On the back of a goose, on a unicycle, on skis, on a raft, or on foot, the CHOUFFE gnomes regularly head off on various different routes near the brewery. You might come across Marcel, Malcolm, Matthew or Micheline if you decide to do the same. Be careful where you put your feet!

on foot
The two loops of Achouffe
DISTANCE: 6.5KM/LOOP – CHANGE IN ALTITUDE: 157M – JOURNEY TIME: 3.5HRS
This pleasant walk consists of two loops, both starting in the village of Achouffe. The first covers a route that is 90% in the woods and meadows. The second takes you past the pretty village of Mont and offers a magnificent view of the village of Achouffe.
Gnome’s tip: you can do just one of the two loops.
The Mormont walk
DISTANCE: 16KM/CHANGE IN ALTITUDE: 152M – JOURNEY TIME: 4HRS
This magnificent walk leads you through the woods, as well as to the pretty villages of Mormont, Engreux and Bonnerue. Admire beautiful panoramic views throughout the walk.
Gnome’s tip: if you are wondering whether to take your hiking poles, please note that the first descent is quite steep.
The walk from Achouffe to Houffalize
DISTANCE: 16KM/CHANGE IN ALTITUDE: 157M – JOURNEY TIME: 3HRS40
During this scenic walk, you will not only pass the villages of Achouffe, Mont and Houffalize, but also enjoy a magnificent panoramic trail.
Gnome’s tip: you will definitely deserve a good CHOUFFE after 16km, don’t you think?
Walk from Achouffe to Wibrin
DISTANCE: 15.4KM/CHANGE IN ALTITUDE: 151M – JOURNEY TIME: 3HRS40
This picturesque Ardennes walk is the perfect opportunity to venture along the Martin-Moulin stream before arriving in Wibrin. The return will take you along a superb panoramic trail.
Gnome’s tip: why not add a visit to the Chouffe Brewery before you set off, to pluck up a bit of courage.
